Using an amalgamation of modern sonics, organic textures and sounds culled from forgotten sources, Khan Kurra’s sound suggests something ancient, somehow conjured through a ritualized use of contemporary technology.

It was created slowly during a series of meditative sessions; it marks the birth of the Khan Kurra project, as its synthesis, sonic qualities and creation ritual seemed to the composer to establish a pathway to vast new arcane and deeply emotional musical realms. Khan Kurra embarked here and continues on this journey.
