HISTORY

Vigorous Food & Divine Madness is a continuing accumulation and dissemination of Thelemic ecclesiastical and magical materials by T Polyphilus. This is the site formerly known as "The Exposed Adytum," by the Thelemite formerly known as Dionysos Thriambos. Prior to that, it was "The Deacon from Hell" by Dionysus Soter.

Feast for the Supreme Ritual and the Equinox of the Gods, Anno Legis IV xvi (20 March 2008 e.v.)
I have launched the new department HYMNS OF THE GNOSIS. It includes musical scores and audio files for Thelemic liturgical music as well as a brief history of the Unknown Rivers choir. Additions and revisions to other departments include:

The new department SACRAMENTAL THEORY AND PRACTICE is complete. This department includes my latest theory and taxonomy of Thelemic sacraments, along with new and revised rituals that I have written, and links to official and significant rituals written by others. I have assembled the new department SERMONS, EXPATIATIONS AND DISCOURSES.

• The new department includes categories regarding Ritual Settings for Thelemic Gnostic Sermonizing, Discourses on the Creed of Liber XV, Onolatrous Sermons from the Cult of the Gnostic Ass, and Other Expatiations on Our Mysteries.
• The Discourses on the Creed category includes an article-by-article examination of the Creed, previously only available to filtered users on my blog.
• All materials from the old Exposed Adytum site that link from the new Sermons department have been proofed, repaired, and updated.
• I added some introductory text to the Traditions department.
• I fixed some formatting in The Moon Under Her Feet and added an image to Formula Delta.

Feast of Saint Robertus de Fluctibus, Anno Legis IV xiv (8 September 2006 e.v.)
Some text has been added to the main page, and I have assembled the department TRADITIONS ANTECEDENT TO NEW AEON GNOSTICISM.

• The new department includes categories regarding Early O.T.O., Freemasonry, Christianity, Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Theosophy, and Paganism.
• All materials from the old Exposed Adytum site that link from the new Traditions department have been proofed, repaired, and updated.
• A reading list regarding esoteric apocalypticism has been added to Apocalyptic Symbolism in the Gnostic Mass.
• Reviews of The Rose Croix, and two books of counter-anti-masonry have been added to the Masonic book reviews.
• I made significant additions and edits to When Is a Pagan Not a Pagan?.
• Two new pages carry feature book reviews: Drudgery Divine and The Triumph of the Moon, on early Christianity and Neopaganism, respectively.
• New page: The Moon Under Her Feet, a slight edit of my original, unabridged nomination of Anna Kingsford to the Order of the Eagle (never previously published)
